LaMar Van Dusen's Bio:

LaMar Van Dusen is an engaged member of the Toronto business community and has played a critical role as a business consultant by providing a wide range of solutions for both entrepreneurs and business owners. A goal-driven professional, LaMar Van Dusen has extensive experience in business marketing, corporate and managerial finance, financial analysis, sourcing, staffing, sales and consulting.   Before launching his own firm, LaMar Vandusen served as Vice President of Sales for Advanced Presentation Products. During his more than two year term at that company, he built a sales team that grew from producing $6 million to $10 million in sales. Prior to that, Van Dusen served as an account executive with employment/staffing firms Robert Half and Flexmore Staffing.   Since 2014, LaMar Van Dusen has worked as a Director managing his own, independent, full service bookkeeping and accounting firm. Van Dusen began the firm from his home office, building business plans for fellow independent business owners and helping them secure the crucial capital they needed to start and/or grow their businesses. In the process, Van Dusen developed a distinctive service offering for business owners that coupled finance consulting with principled accounting. His firm also became the preeminent company in the Greater Toronto Area to offer full service bookkeeping and corporate accounting for one flat monthly fee, a service that provides business owners access to a greater number of resources, with a simplified service approach, and no hidden costs.   In addition to offering full service bookkeeping and accounting plus a range of service offerings that includes the creation of business plans, Van Dusen’s firm provides finance consulting, business management, government grants and strategy advisory services.   Supported by a staff of two full time CPAs, bookkeepers and administrative assistants, the firm manages a broad range of bookkeeping clients on a monthly basis, and an additional corporate and sole proprietorship for year-end tax returns. Since it was founded, the company has helped a number of Ontario companies raise funds for working capital, and helped those businesses purchase commercial properties and franchises.   LaMar Van Dusen is a proud alumni of two academic institutions, having studied business administration and marketing at St. Clair College and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Windsor University. He is a member of several Canadian professional organizations, including the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.   Van Dusen is passionate about helping adolescent burn victims and began a foundation known as the Rise of the Phoenix Foundation to assist these children with travel, hotel stays, and medical expenses. He is also a supporter of Camp Bucko, a burn camp in Ontario that admits kids ages 7 to 17.     When he’s not focused on his business efforts, LaMar Van Dusen enjoys a number of fitness-related activities. He participates in workout training four days as week, and plays football as well. With the rest of his spare time, Van Dusen coaches his son’s football team and loves going on fishing trips.
